This morning I was excited to discover that the online writing workshop I recorded for the Royal Voluntary Services had gone live.
Featured on their Virtual Village Hall Facebook page – set up to keep people active and connected whilst isolating at home – the workshop contains short prompts to get you dipping into your store of memories and recording them – in words on a bit of paper or as an oral story on your phone. And all without Sir or Miss from your schooldays standing behind you and checking out your handwriting.
I’d had a couple of lovely comments about the film within twenty minutes of it going live, which I was pleased about. I hope lots of people do the activities and share what they’ve created in the Village Hall.
